Discover How to Increase Sales in a Business Through 3 Effective Lead Generation Tactics
Increasing sales is something that every business needs.
The more sales the greater the turnover, revenue and profits that can be generated by the business.
However this is easier said than done particularly when you don’t know where to start.
Increasing the number of prospective customers into your sales funnel, is the most widely used strategy for increasing sales.
What needs to be understood is that there are potential customers either actively searching for your products or services online or who congregate in specific online resources in their everyday lives.
In order to actively increase the number of people seeing and acting on your offer, you first have to get in front of them.
In this article I’ll be discussing three ways to get your offer in front of potential clients.
Lets get cracking…
1. Search Engine Advertising
The most effective way of getting people into your sales funnel is through search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo.
All three these search engines have advertising networks through which you can target people actively looking for what you offer:
Their advertising model works on an auction system where advertisers bid for search phrases used by consumers.
Here you have to put yourself in your clients mind set and conceptualise searches they may use when looking for your products or services.
And target those search phrases in your advertsing.
2. Google My Business
Google my business appears at the top of search results in Google.
Whenever someone searches for your company, your Google My Business listing appears at the top of search results.
In some cases where there are many suppliers for the same search phrase, Google shows a Google Maps listing at the top of search results with the suppliers Google My Business listings at the top of search results.
So setting up your Google My Business listing is imperative in getting new leads.
3. Facebook / LinkedIn Advertising
Facebook and LinkedIn allow you to target consumers based on their demographic profiles.
Facebook works best for B2C type businesses while LinkedIn is geared for B2B lead generation.
Using these advertising networks allow you to pin point people who are likely to make use of your products or services.
You need to conceptualise the demographic profile of your perfect customer and advertise to that demographic.
Discussing each of these advertising networks is beyond the scope of this article, I’ll be guiding you in the set up, management and enhancement of each of these tactics in future articles.
